Sustainability Meet up

St Albans Community Champions Launch New Sustainability forum, People Planet Pint

Three of St Albans’ residents are leading an initiative to keep the conversation on sustainability going in our community. This forum is an opportunity for residents, business leaders and all members of the community to come together, share ideas, and take action for a greener and more sustainable future.

The event, planned as a regular meetup at various local spots, is an open invitation to everyone in St Albans. Whether you’re a business owner, a student, a parent, or just someone who cares about our planet, this is your chance to be part of a meaningful change.

The local leaders include:

  1. Stephanie Lambert: With her background in marketing and a deep commitment to environmental causes, Stephanie brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to the table. Her insights are sure to inspire and energise our discussions.
  2. Rondi Allan: As a co-founder of Sustainable X and with 25+ years experience in the business world, Rondi knows how to make sustainability work in the real world. Her pragmatic approach will help us turn ideas into action.
  3. Matt Bourn: Known for his work in sustainable advertising and his advocacy in climate action, Matt’s perspective will add a creative edge to our forum. He’s all about making St Albans a leading example of a sustainable city.

People, Planet, Pint was created by Small99 and has helped connect over 10,000 people in 10 countries with 350 meetings to date to spark new conversations and action that’s good for people and planet.

The first event in St Albans is coming on February 13th, at the Hub on Verulam. Bookings can be made here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/st-albans-people-planet-pint-sustainability-meetup-tickets-806485468747
